Zama Phakathi is a successful entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and philanthropist. After completing her BCom degree in 2001 and building a
corporate career, she founded Splendid Marketing in 2009, which has grown into a leading Black-owned marketing, branding, PR, and events company. She has expanded her interests into various sectors, served on
numerous boards, and received several national business awards.
She is a philanthropist at heart and through her foundation, The Zama Phakathi Foundation, she empowers youth, women, and disadvantaged communities, particularly in KwaZulu-Natal. Zama is widely recognised for her leadership, entrepreneurial success, and commitment to making a positive impact.

Mr Stephen Gwande has 30 years’ experience across Zimbabwe and South Africa in business development, corporate management, and strategic partnerships. Stephen specializes in Global Investor Mandate and Project Financing within the SADC region.
His mandate is sourcing “Shovel Ready” and Ready to Build RTB projects, structuring bankable documentation, and aligning utilities, regulators, investors, and EPC+F teams to take projects from concept to financial close. Technical focus includes Solar PV, BESS, Hybrid Inverters, Grid-tied/Off-grid systems, and Waste-to-Energy.
